A Place With No Sand

5 Lock Road #01-16
1st - 10th March 2024

A Place With No Sand explores a speculative future where humanity’s most abundant natural resource, sand, has all been transformed into glass, reshaping our world and our relationship with the environment. Building into a landscape made from materials that had been irreversibly processed by humans, the artworks attempt to interrogate data, processes, and interaction of sand between the various facets of human society - a documentation of the full cycle of a material’s transformation.
